‘Come all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble of heart and you will find rest for your soul. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.‘ – Matthew 11:28-30
Being vulnerable can be scary but not to God. He so wants our authentic self, not our game face, not the “fine” response, but our true response to all that is happening around and in us.
It is not lack of faith on our part but can be a sign of tremendous faith and trust in God when we reach out and up to God in prayer, knowing that He hears and answers our prayers.
We can be encouraged time and time again through scripture that He is for us. Just look at this one: ‘Fear not for I am with you, do not be dismayed for I am your God. I will strengthen, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.‘ – Isaiah 40:10
Our prayers are powerful and whether or not this is your first time of fasting and praying, be assured that you will have a testimony of witnessing the goodness of God.
We are so privileged to be given authority in prayer. We have access to God. We cannot underestimate the power we have at our disposal because of this.
This is our time to stand in the gap for those that may not have a voice, for our leaders, our church, our families, our friends, our communities, our nation.
Your prayers make a difference.
Remember you are not alone and neither are your prayers.
Encourage one other.

‘Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you. I don’t give it as the world gives it to you. Do not let your heart be troubled and do not be afraid.‘ – John 14:27
