WHAT HAPPENS AT A GROUP?

You’ve probably seen Groups meeting and not even realised it! A group at C7 can looks like many things including friends at lunch, teams playing basketball, or people studying Sunday’s messages or learning a new skill. At its core, a group is a gathering of people. It is less about what you do and more about who you do it with. By participating in a group, you can expect to connect with others through a common activity, engage in life-giving conversation, build meaningful relationships and receive and share in prayer.

HOW OFTEN DOES A GROUP MEET?

Our Small Groups meet for three semesters a year—winter/spring, summer and fall. During the semester, most groups meet once a week. Small Groups are meant to bring meaning and community into the flow of your life, so even if you can’t attend every meeting, there is still great value in joining a group.

WHERE DO SMALL GROUPS MEET?

Groups happen at the C7 City Campus, as well as at various homes and cafes throughout Glasgow and the wider central belt of Scotland.

HOW LONG DOES A TYPICAL GROUP LAST?

Most Groups meet for a semester. This way, new people can join groups easily and regularly. Also, the semester format allows you to try multiple groups each year if you want (but if you love it you can also stay in your group for as many semesters as you like!)

IS THERE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?

Childcare varies from group to group, and at children are also welcome at some of our groups. If you want to find out the childcare options for a specific groups just get in touch.

WHAT IF I DON’T LIKE THE FIRST GROUP I TRY?

The truth is, not everyone will find the best fit with the first group they try. This is why we encourage you try out a couple different groups to help you find the one that’s right for you. The simple strategy to finding your groups is to not give up. We believe there is a group that is right for everyone—including you!
